When we  first receive these units they get sent off to Dell for refurbishing regardless of whether they need it or not.

Dell checks every function and make certain all is well.

They replace any part that is not in new condition.

In most cases they will replace the lid covers, the screens and the keyboard/docks with new ones.

They reload each unit with its original OS which is Windows 8.1.
