I have about 300 Dell OptiPlex 745 Desktops that arrived a few days ago.  We are anticipating as many as 1100 over the course of the next month or so.  Upon receipt, we plan to boot them to insure they are complete and working.  Then we?€?ll pull the HDDs tested AND wiping.  We test for weak or bad sectors.  A drive with even a single weak sector will be scrapped and replaced.  We will also inspect for major cosmetic issues.  Anything like dented cases, broken bezels, deep case scratching, we?€?ll set those aside for later.  We?€?ll clean the units up ?€? removing any heavy ink (as best we can), and blow out the insides to remove any/all ?€?t bunnies.?€?

These originated from a school environment, so I know some of the Dell emblems may be missing.  Aside from that, these will be in pretty decent physical condition after we complete our process.  We are looking for reasonable offers for these complete, working, units with tested drives, etc.  It is likely that the BIOS levels will already be updated to the latest available as well.  We will sell NO FEWER than 50 at a time.  Ideally, we can find a home for all of them that end up making the grade, and can ship as we complete them.
